FreeTrend Company from Vietnam
The Tamil Nadu Cabinet has approved the FreeTrend Company from Vietnam to set up a footwear manufacturing plant at Ariyalur at an estimated cost of Rs 1000 crore. The footwear manufacturing plant will provide employment to 15,000 people. With Phoenix Kothari already setting up a footwear manufacturing plant in Perambalur district, the region has become a unique hub for footwear manufacturing.
In order to quickly achieve Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin’s goal of making Tamil Nadu, which is the 2nd largest economic state in India, a trillion US dollar economy by 2030, the Tamil Nadu Government’s Department of Industry, Investment Promotion and Commerce, not only attracts high-tech industry investments, but also provides large employment opportunities. Efforts are also being made to attract investments.
Vietnam-based Free Dreadnought is one of the world’s leading shoe manufacturers. In Ariyalur district of Tamil Nadu Free Threat Company is going to set up a shoe manufacturing plant at a cost of Rs.1000 crore. The plant will provide employment to 15,000 people, it said
Foxconn, Kaynes, FreeTrend, Tata Motors, Rockwell, Nokia, Leap Green have set up their factories in Tamil Nadu in the investment list approved by the Tamil Nadu Cabinet today.
These factories are located in Ariyalur, Ranipet, Kanchipuram, Krishnagiri, Thoothukudi, Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli, Ramanathapuram, Chengalpattu, Coimbatore, Chennai, Thiruvannamalai, districts of Tamil Nadu.
