World’s largest Bhairava..Maha Kumbabhishekam to be held in a grand manner..Call to devotees E
rode: The Swarna Bhairava Peedham Trustee has said that the Maha Kumbabhishekam ceremony of the world’s largest Bhairava temple is planned to be held in March 2023. It is believed that participating in a Kumbabhishekam removes the sins of three generations. Unlike in any temple kumbabhishekam before, people in our temple have the opportunity to participate not only as spectators but also as a part of the abhishekam. Varana Avaharshan Bhairava is the re-incarnation of Lord Shiva. Usually in Shiva temples, Kala Bhairava’s sanctum is small and facing south. Located in Palayam around Gangeyam Main Road Avalpoonthurai Road, Erode District, this temple has the special feature of Bhairava facing west.
