Chance of light rain in Nellai, Tenkasi during the next 3 hours – Meteorological Centre

Chennai: The Chennai Meteorological Department has informed that there is a possibility of light rain in Nellai and Tenkasi districts in the next 3 hours. Due to the peak of northeast monsoon in Tamil Nadu, heavy rain is continuing in various places in Tamil Nadu. The depression that formed last month has turned into a deep depression. Due to this heavy rain fell in Chennai and Delta districts. After that, the low pressure area formed in the South Andaman Sea and adjacent areas this morning, there is a possibility of moderate rain in Puducherry, Karaikal region of Tamil Nadu today and tomorrow, the Meteorological Department informed. It has been said that the sky will be partly cloudy in Chennai for the next 48 hours and light rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a few places.
