Trump’s reckless action
In the United States, President Trump, after assuming office, has taken a very aggressive stance on deporting illegal immigrants. Since taking office, he has issued several swift executive orders to address this issue.
In 2022, there were approximately 12 million illegal immigrants in the United States, and by 2024, that number has increased to around 14 million. The majority of these immigrants are concentrated in six states: Florida, Texas, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Maryland.
Trump stated that apart from those who entered the country legally with proper visas, there are nearly 10 million illegal immigrants who pose potential threats, and they must be deported from the United States.
