At Tiruvannamalai on the occasion of the full moon of Puratasi month

In Tiruvannamalai on the occasion of the full moon of the Puratasi month, the devotees went to the Krivalam for worship on the 2nd day. Due to the crowd in the temple, they have been waiting for about 4 hours to have darshan of Swami. Thiruvannamalai Annamalaiyar Temple is located as Agni Thalam among the Pancha Bhutha Thalams and a place of salvation for thinking. Lakhs of devotees come to Krivalam every month on the full moon days as the mountain itself is known as Mahesan. Accordingly, there were 2 full moon days in the month of Puratasi. Accordingly, the second full moon of this month starts at 8 pm yesterday and ends at 5.38 pm today. At this time, the Annamalaiyar temple administration had announced that it was the best time to go to Krivalam in Tiruvannamalai.

Accordingly, the Bakkars came to Krivalam from yesterday evening. After 8 pm the number of devotees swelled to lakhs. Vidia Vidia devotees went to Krivalam and worshiped Annamalai. It was announced that there will be heavy rain yesterday due to the low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, the district administration had requested the devotees to avoid visiting Krivalam. However, there was no rain in Tiruvannamalai all day yesterday. As a result, lakhs of devotees went to Krivalam last night as usual. In this case, on the 2nd day, thousands of devotees went to Krivalam and worshiped Annamalai. Annamalaiyar temple was inaugurated early this morning and special pujas were held.

Devotees were allowed to have darshan of Swami. Since early morning, thousands of devotees were waiting in long queues to have darshan of Swami. Devotees were allowed through Rajagopuram. To facilitate quick darshan of devotees, special fee darshan and session darshan are also canceled today. Devotees were allowed only for public darshan. They have been waiting for about 4 hours and have darshan of Swami. On the occasion of the full moon, special buses were run from outlying districts and outlying states. Similarly, special trains were run on Villupuram and Katpadi routes. Devotees thronged the railway station and temporary bus stands to go to their hometowns after completing the Krivalam. Mothers and elderly people who had come with their children had to suffer due to the crowd at the railway station
