The ongoing Caribbean Premier League in the West Indies

Guyana and St. Lucia clashed in the T20 final in the early hours of this morning. Batting first, the Guyana team scored 138 runs for the loss of 8 wickets at the end of 20 overs. Noor Ahmed took 3 wickets for Lucia team. Next, the Lucia team scored only 51 runs in 10 overs and lost 4 important wickets.

It was expected that the Guyana team would win easily. But Jones and Chase on the field changed the course of the game. Together, Moeen Ali scored 27 runs in the 16th over and Pretorius scored 20 runs in the 17th over as the team reached the target in 18.2 overs and clinched the trophy. Chase won the man of the match award and Noor Ahmed won the man of the series award
