Delhi: Every year on the occasion of Republic Day, police medals are announced by the President. Accordingly, police medals have been announced for a total of 901 people this year. Chennai IG Thenmozhi, Chengalpattu ASP Pon Ramu and Ariyalur ASP Ravisekharan from Tamil Nadu are being awarded Presidential Police Medals for their meritorious service.
