Request to the Hindu Charitable Department on behalf of the village elders
*Request to the Hindu Charitable Department on behalf of the village elders, devotees and public regarding the tirupani and Kumbabishekam of *Maragathambikai Udanurai Manneeswarar Temple* under the boundary of *Mannivakkam Panchayat Council* under Katangulathur Union of Chengalpattu District* The temple was built hundreds of years ago with Kanchi as its capital during the Pallava period and its eastern border known as Mannivakkam Kunakanchi and is revered by devotees as a sacred site. *Maha Kumbabishekam was performed in a grand manner in the presence of elders of the village who lived in this temple 40 years ago* The people of the area are very concerned that the Kumbabhishekam is not being performed as the tower at the entrance gate is not erected till the last day. Hon’ble Tamil Nadu who cares about people’s welfare Appeal to Minister of Charities Since you have taken responsibility as a minister and are dedicating yourself to various temple repairs and development, you have received great response from the public. We bring to your attention the demand of the general public that they should stand in front of this shrine and erect a temple tower and conduct the temple Kumbabhishekam. In this regard, it is the general request of all village elders that they should speed up the above temple works and Kumbabhishekam activities as per their guidance with the cooperation of the higher authorities and the village elders. They are requested to consider this matter and take appropriate action and issue a document to set up the Kumbabishekam and the tower at the entrance gate as soon as possible.
